About Monica Gardner

Monica Gardner has been teaching dance in Georgia for over 20 years, sharing her passion and expertise with dancers of all ages and levels. While she specializes in tap dance, Monica's versatile training spans multiple dance styles.

Her award-winning tap choreography has received recognition at dance competitions, with her students consistently earning high scores and often receiving special awards for tap technique and performance.

What truly sets Monica’s tap classes apart is her well-rounded approach. She not only builds strong technical foundations but also nurtures confident and knowledgeable tap dancers by weaving tap history, culture, and music theory into her teaching. Her zealousness for tap dance shines through, inspiring an appreciation for the art form in all her students.

Where Monica Teaches

Monica currently teaches tap dance at Dance and Music Academy of Woodstock, Studio 55 Dance, and Powerhouse Dance Center. In addition to her work at these local studios, she is excited to offer supplemental tap dance classes at a neutral rental space in Acworth, GA.

These supplemental classes are perfect for:

• Dancers who don’t currently have access to a tap class.

• Former students who want to tap with Monica again.

• Tap enthusiasts who just can’t get enough and want more training.

• Dancers whose studios don’t offer tap or don’t offer it at their preferred level.
